ABOUT
MISSION

The Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) is a student-led, campus minister-directed organization at Augusta University. Our mission is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by engaging students with the gospel, equipping them to be lifelong disciples, and empowering them to make more disciples.

five priorities

1. High view of scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
All teaching is grounded in the inerrant, infallible, Word of God. Students are exposed to expository teaching every week. Students are engaged in in-depth Bible studies for men and women. Students are equipped to study and teach Scripture.

2. Authentic community (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Students are placed in small groups designed to facilitate spiritual growth through encouragement and accountability.

3. Intentional and strategic evangelism and discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Timothy 2:2)
Students are trained to share their faith and help others mature in their faith. Students are provided opportunities to serve on mission teams all over the world (www.sendmenow.net).

4. Active in service and outreach (Mark 10:42-45)
Students are provided opportunities to actively serve the campus (students, professors, staff, etc.) and the surrounding community.
5. Local church involvement (Hebrews 10:24-25; Titus 2:1-8)
Students are encouraged to become members of healthy churches. Students are encouraged to develop intentional discipleship relationships with older men and women in their local churches.
