The Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) is a student organization here at Augusta University with one goal in mind, to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus. We strive to accomplish this goal by committing to five priorities:

       1) High view of scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

           a. Students are exposed to expository teaching every week

             b. Students are engaged in in-depth Bible studies for men and women

             c. Students are equipped to study and teach scripture

       2) Authentic Community (Hebrews 10:24-25)

           a. Students are placed in small groups designed to facilitate spiritual growth through encouragement and accountability

       3) Intentional and strategic evangelism and discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Timothy 2:2)

           a. Students are trained to share their faith and help others mature in their faith

             b. Students are provided opportunities to serve on mission teams all over the world.

      4) Actively engaging campus and community through service (Mark 10:42-45; James 2:15-16)

           a. Students are provided opportunities to actively serve the campus (students, professors, staff, etc.) and surrounding community

      5) Local church involvement (Hebrews 10:24-25; Titus 2:1-8)

          a. Students are encouraged to become members of healthy churches

            b. Students are encouraged to develop intentional discipleship relationships with older men and women in their local churches
